What may my group see on their tour of Wilmington Airport? Some things your group may see include the following.
Operations
Take an exciting look behind the scenes of Wilmington Airport, marvel at colossal aircraft and the hustle and bustle on the apron at close quarters. Groups may also visit the Airport Operations office to understand how the team ensures the airport runs safely and securely. You may also tour Airport Maintenance Operations and their equipment at ILG.
Delaware River and Bay Authority PD and K-9s at ILG
DRBA police officers are on site daily to keep our terminal and passengers safe. You may even have a chance to meet one of their extraordinary partners and see a demonstration of how our K-9 dogs are specially trained to search and keep our airport safe.
ARFF
Visitors may be able to visit with Aircraft Rescue and Firefighting (ARFF) at the Delaware Air Guard Fire Department (Station 33). Here, firefighters will demonstrate the capabilities of the airport’s special emergency response vehicles and show off some gear.

The team at Flight Safety is dedicated to saving lives by training aircraft pilots and maintenance technicians to safely operate and maintain aircraft.

Tours are only guaranteed once you receive a confirmation from Wilmington Airport.
Tours are subject to change or cancellation based on weather, Airport conditions, staffing availability, or unforeseen circumstances. Tour last approximately 1-1/2 to 2 hours and details will be based on the day and time.
